So, today I was invited over to eat dinner at an old friend's place, someone who I haven't seen in probably about five years. I walked across campus to his place and got all the way to the building before I realized that I wasn't quite sure that I was in the right place. So, like a dork, I'm standing outside, trying to figure out if it's the right building or not, when someone in the apartment opens the door and this guy walks out. The conversation went like this:
Me: "Hi, does Tyler live here?"
Guy: "Hi, Mandy."
Me: /INSERT ENDLESS EMBARRASSMENT HERE
Me: "OH. TYLER. HI. WOW YOU LOOK SO DIFFERENT."
Me: "Hi, does Tyler live here?"
Guy: "Hi, Mandy."
Me: /INSERT ENDLESS EMBARRASSMENT HERE
Me: "OH. TYLER. HI. WOW YOU LOOK SO DIFFERENT."
Apparently I am blind. As a bat.
